About Me

 

​After an honours degree in English and French, I went to Rochdale and Manchester Art Colleges.  I taught English in Rome, worked in art and antiques in London and moved to Buckinghamshire where I gained the Bucks Higher Diploma (Sculpture).

 

     I have returned to painting to explore my fascination with colour and texture.  I often start with representational drawings, but through experimenting with a variety of techniques and materials, I am usually lead to varying degrees of abstraction.  My aim is to look beyond the representational in ways which are better shown in my work than said.

 

I have exhibited my work widely locally.
